One Life - a million lil moments..

BIG fat Disclaimer:
The intention of this post is NOT to encourage employees to access social networking websites from office.
I strongly recommend that readers refrain from opening the links mentioned through company-provided internet access.

Ok..that was the dishclaimer i added wen i posted this on my company blogspace.. cant take any chances, u know, with IT co's, and particularly mine, seemingly hell bent on kicking ppl out!
Well, the purpose of this post is not to bitch about my employer..that, i guess, will come sometime later.

Posting to tell you guys about LifeinLines.com, a startup by one of my school buddies, Ankur Gattani, an IIT-B + IIM-C alumnus, that’s way ahead of everything you’ve ever come across online.
LifeinLines or LiL is, as Ankur puts it, “a platform to capture little moments from your life”.

Another mindless Twitter copycat? Or is it? Well, fellas, look again will ya?

LiL is not just about microblogging. You can upload pics, videos, sound clips along with an unlimited number of words to express yourself and tell the “ongoing story of your life”. J
Oh, and you can post to the site thru web, Gtalk, by sending an email, sending an SMS / MMS or by making a phone call to record your voice.
Each post can be stored privately or shared with selected people by making use of six levels of privacy settings!

Ok, I better cut the crap right here and let u ppl go out there and explore it yourselves.
Do take a look at this site and lemme know what you think. (No, i'm not trying to invite comments here.. *sigh*..ok ok maybe i am..so wat huh?)

PS: You can read more about LiL here and here.
